Welcome to the Parish of Abergele!

We hope you enjoy looking at our web site. Here you will find information about our Christian worship, work and witness in a town that lies between the coastline and the Welsh countryside.

The story of this ancient parish, dating back to the 8th century, is fascinating and, 1200 years later, the church is still very much alive and provides many activities aimed at people of various ages.

The Parish Church, dedicated to St Michael, fulfils an important role in the life of Abergele. As well as regular Sunday and weekday services, it also hosts various special services for the town, its schools and organisations. St Michael’s is also popular for educational visits and musical events; from time to time exhibitions are staged.

The Pensarn area of the parish is served by the Canolfan Dewi Sant Centre, a purpose built community centre with a worship area which replaced the old St David's Church in 2011.

Do come and visit us – we look forward to welcoming you!

How to find us if you are coming in person,
or e-mail us at Abergele Parish
You can also phone St Michael's office on 01745 827 766 but the phone is not always manned.

St Michael's and St David's Church are in the St Asaph Diocese and part of the Church in Wales: thus part of the world wide Anglican community.
